It is with much pride and excitement to announce that Sierra Mountain Soccer Club has entered into a collaborative partnership agreement with Barcelona USA, in an effort to support the soccer methodology and player development system of "total futbol" as they relate to the system of "tiki-taka" soccer, in the State of California. The program will now fly under the banner of: BARCELONA NOR CAL.

We are the area's premier soccer organization, committed to providing an unparalleled experience for all who have an interest in the sport of soccer. We promote the spirit of sportsmanship, the electricity of competition and the importance of pure enjoyment. Our mission is to provide the opportunity to play developmental and competitive soccer and to provide specialized training programs to all who wish to participate, regardless of their financial capability.
Barcelona NorCal provides a Premier Professional Soccer Environment to players within Northern California and Northern Nevada. Together with our collaboration partners throughout the United States, our goal is to prepare our players to play at a higher level of competition by focusing on their tactical and technical awareness. We believe player development begins at the earliest ages through our Academy Program and progresses with participation in our Competitive Teams. All players are instructed according to the concepts of the “total futbol” philosophy.
Disclaimer: Barcelona USA IS NOT an official FC Barcelona Academy. However, (as a DBA) it is the soccer arm of the official Barca Penya in California. Barcelona Nor Cal is the official partner of Barcelona USA, representing the state of California, within the Total Futbol Collaboration Program.
ABOUT BARCELONA USA
Barcelona USA (a DBA) is the youth soccer branch of the official FCBarcelona Penya in California (PB California #1437) that for over a decade has studied and adopted the methodologies and player development concepts of "total futbol" as they relate to the system of "tiki-taka" soccer. With this in mind, we decided to create a program that allows youth soccer clubs nationwide the ability to collaborate with us under our "TOTAL FUTBOL ACADEMY" Collaboration Program.
THE COLLABORATION PROGRAM:
The program provides technical, administrative and soccer support benefits, as well as access to our accrued intellectual property. Additionally, the program provides a collaborative environment throughout the partnership.
THE GOAL:
To offer opportunities beyond soccer relationships and methodologies such as: National Corporate Sponsors, advanced marketing and advertising programs, instant notoriety, as well as comprehensive apparel agreements with EUROSPORT & NIKE.
With this in mind, together we will endeavor to develop a soccer organizational philosophy and methodology that serves two purposes: To support one soccer methodology and player development system, and to support a program that allows youth soccer clubs to ability to collaborate collectively.
